The ceremony will be in the Oaks Suite at 3pm and will be followed by a reception in the Cedar Suite, including dinner and dancing. There will be a changing room available at the hotel for those travelling to the area on the day.

The hotel is set in the Goodwood Estate and is about half a mile from Goodwood House, the stately home of the Dukes of Richmond. As well as the acres of chalk downlands and woods, the Goodwood Estate is also home to a famous horse racing course and classic motor racing circuit.

For driving directions to Chichester and Goodwood visit MultiMap and / or Google Maps. Or download this map and directions (requires Acrobat Reader). Alternatively, take a train to Chichester (see Local Info) and a taxi from the station to the hotel.

Note that if you intend to get a taxi back to your accommodation then it is a good idea to book in advance as Saturday night can be very busy (see Local Info for phone numbers or contact us). The hotel closes at midnight so you will probably want to aim for just before this.

The evening of Friday the 22nd, at 7pm, the wedding party will be going out for an informal dinner (the 'Rehearsal Dinner' as it is called here in California!). We will eat at the Crown Hotel, Emsworth, and will be in the bar afterwards. So if you are arriving in town before the big day and feel like dropping by to say hello then please join us there for a drink. The Crown bar usually serves food but there are also plenty of pubs and restaurants within walking distance; it may be worth reserving a table in advance.

On Sunday the 24th from 11am and continuing through the afternoon there will be a Brunch at our house, also in Emsworth (see Contact Us for address). Everyone is welcome. Please feel free to drop in for food, coffee, drinks, chat.... We would be very happy to see you again before you leave town!

Emsworth is 7 miles west of Chichester and the easiest way to get to there is to take the A27 Westbound. Take the 'Emsworth' exit (the first one if you are coming from Chichester) which leads to the A259 Eastbound. At the main roundabout, with a welcome sign and flowers / anchors in the middle: go right for the Crown Hotel or straight on for our house. Our house is on 'Southbourne Avenue' (no. 19) which is the fourth road on the left after the roundabout. There is also a train station at Emsworth.

We hope you will be able to join us on our wedding day - that would be the best gift ever! Your attendance really means a lot to us, especially with the distances that will travelled by many.
