Welcome to our Russian-Anglo-Irish wedding website! We would love you to be with us on the day so please save the date - 23rd of September. We really appreciate the travelling involved, especially as it will be a first trip to England for some. So we hope that the information we have put together here will be helpful. For those of you who haven't met us both yet, here is a little background. Igor is Russian, from Moscow and lived on Long Island and in Boulder for a few years each, before moving to Los Angeles three years ago. Paula is half-English, half-Irish, was born in Dublin and grew up in southern England. We arrived in California a few weeks apart and met soon after - the rest, as they say, is history. We got engaged on 25th January this year, after a lovely evening out to see Madame Butterfly. We both work at Caltech, in biology and geology, and when we're not there, we enjoy skiing, biking and hiking in the mountains around LA.

Paula's mother, Claire, lives in southern England, which is where we'll be getting married. She's been wonderful helping to organise the wedding and reception there and we both thank her very much! Igor's parents, Anatoly and Yelena, divide their time between Florida and Moscow. They have also been very helpful and will be co-hosting the event as well.
